Abstract
Mitral stenosis is a condition where mechanical obstruction occurs which results in abnormalities in the opening of the mitral valve during the filling phase of the left ventricle and is a disturbance in the opening of the mitral valve in the diastolic phase. The role of echocardiography is a supporting examination to establish diagnostics for intervention and support in determining the severity of mitral stenosis using the MV Planimetry, MV PHT, and Meang PG methods. In this research, the method used is a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. The number of samples in this study was 1 patient. The results of this study used 2D and CW modalities and obtained results on behalf of Mrs. R which indicated severe or severe mitral stenosis.
