Abstract
This study aims to explore and analyze the ethnomathematics concepts contained in the traditional food of the Makassar tribe, Kaddo’ Massingkulu Triangle. The method used in this research is an exploratory-descriptive method through an ethnographic approach that aims to describe, explain, and analyze mathematical concepts in the traditional food of the Makassar tribe, Kaddo’ Massingkulu Triangle. Data collection techniques included literature review, observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the interactive model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing (verification). The validity of the data was checked through source triangulation. The results of the research show that the traditional food of the Makassar tribe, Kaddo’ Massingkulu Triangle, in Galesong Selatan District, South Sulawesi Province, contains ethno mathematical concepts.
